Master Alan Bergey


I started Tae-Kwon-Do at the age of 35 (1987) in England at the UKTA under Master Rhee Ki Ha. To green belt.

In 1989 I left England and came to Canada and trained at:
  • Chung Ho's (Kitchener: to Red stripe)
  • Jong Park (Mississauga: to 3rd Degree Black Belt)
  • Mudokwan, (Master Robert Leszczynski)
  • Red Dawn (Brampton, Master Marcano: to 4th Degree black belt.)

I enjoy competitions and throughout the 21 years in Tae-Kwon-Do I have well over 100 trophies. In 2002 and 2005 I competed in the world 6th (USA) and 7th World open championships. (Wales. UK)

I also compete in musical patterns, Weapons patterns in, Bo Staff (A wood staff about 2 meters long) and Nunchaku.At present I am just starting to learn Korean sword patterns ( Shim Soo Do ).

Working Career.
In my Working career I have degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Opt-electronics and Biology / Biochemistry. I have worked as an industrial chemist and Optical engineer.
