Andrew Paliwoda

Hello, my name is Andrew Paliwoda. I am one of your new Tae Kwon Do instructors at Mudokwan Tae Kwon Do. I am here to help all of you in your training in Tae Kwon Do and to make it fun while you train.

So you can know me better, I would like to introduce myself. I was born on June 17, 1990; in Mississauga, Ontario; where I currently reside. I became interested in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 9, and ever since I have been practicing many self defense tactics ranging from martial arts to firearms training, along with strength training and fitness. On my spare time I like to practice submission techniques with Sensei Peter, and chill with Mater James.

I started training in Tae Kwon Do in 1999, and started in a school that offered the ITF program. After about a year of training Master Robert bought the school and it became fully WTF. I trained for about three years until 2001, and took a long break ending with a green belt. I re-joined the school again at the end of 2005, and restarted my Tae Kwon Do training. I slowly gained in rank throughout the years, and was faced with more and more competitions, demonstrations, and eventually helping out in the school and assisting Masters in teaching their classes.

In September of 2007, I achieved the rank of 1st Dan (Degree) Black Belt, and it was an exhilarating and ultimate experience. It was the end of one quest, yet the beginning of another. After Grandmaster Dr. Norbert Mosch gave me the rank I was very happy, and it is one of my greatest achievements in life.

To the students of Mudokwan, I would personally like to say; never stop training, don’t take brakes, always give your full effort, don’t limit yourself and always aim high.

Also thank you for reading this brief introductory note about myself.
