Andrew Mazurkiewicz

Andrew was born in Zary, Poland, and came to Canada at the age of 9. His interest in martial arts began at a young age, however he did not practice the art seriously until his early 20's. During college he enrolled at a Taekwondo/Tangsoodo school and trained under the internationally respected Grand Master Hock Lye Ooi for 9 years. During his time with Grand Master Ooi he had the opportunity to learn from outstanding Taekwondo experts and received topnotch martial arts training.

He also participated in local competitions winning gold and silver medals. Through dedication and hard work Andrew achieved his goal of obtaining a black belt. He realized that obtaining a black belt is not an ending to his martial art study but a new beginning where he can continue to grow in skill and pass on his knowledge to other students. In addition to Taekwondo/Tangsoodo, Andrew has experience in other martial arts such as Karate and Muay Thai Kickboxing.
