History of Mudokwan Taekwondo Canada

Master Robert Leszczynski was born in Poland; He has been studying Tae kwon do since 1970. After nine years of Tae kwon do training he passed his test for the 1st Dan, in the presence of Dr. Kyong-Myong-Lee 8th Dan in Poland. He represented Poland in 1973 in Korea for the 1st World Tae kwon do Championship in Seoul, with the Polish National Tae kwon do Team in Kukkiwon-Seoul where the 1st World Tae kwon do Championship was held. In 1981 Master Robert Leszczynski competed in the First Polish Tae kwon do Championship in the city of Lublin where he was born. He won silver, bronze, and gold medals after years of competing in every tournament which was held in Poland over the next few years, including the Polish Cup in Lomza, Gdansk, Lodz, Pulawy where he won multiple trophies and medals and the Polish Tae kwon do Championship which was held every two years in Lublin, Lodz, Gdansk and Warszawa, the capital City of Poland.

Now living in Canada permanently, Master Robert Leszczynski started the First Polish Tae kwon do School in Toronto In November 1992. In 1973, his Master of Tae kwon do from Poland Mr. Konarski was the owner of the First Tae kwon do Academy in Poland in the City of Lublin where Master Robert Leszczynski was born. He had been studying this art about 27 years by this time, and had improved himself tremendously. In 1981, after 10 years, he passed his exam for 1st Dan. Later Master Kyong Myong Lee (8th Dan) came to Poland (City Lublin) and that time at his presence he passed grading for 2nd Dan. In November 1989, he decided to leave Poland and went to Austria (Vienna - the capital city.) He stayed for 3 years and represented Mudokwan Tae kwon do Academy in Tae kwon do tournaments. There were many opportunities in Tae kwon do. He began training at the Mudokwan School. His Austrian teacher was Master Norbert Mosch (8th Dan) who was also an owner of that Academy.

The training was excellent and before he left Austria for Canada, he passed his 3rd and 4th Dan Black belt. Master Norbert Mosch invited him to stay in Vienna, but he had already received his permanent residence in Canada. On May 28 1991, finally he came to Canada. It was a good decision because now Master Robert Leszczynski leading Mudokwan Tae Kwon Do Academy School in Toronto, Etobicoke and Mississauga, University Of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is teaching and instructing about 500 students, in different clubs, including Ottawa, Canada ,and West Palm Beach in Florida ,Chicago USA ,and Poland Europe .

His advice to his students:

To Be a Black Belt in Martial Arts WTF Olympic Tae Kwon Do has a lot of responsibility. You can only learn from your experience. To achieve a goal, and enjoy teaching, and to share the knowledge of what you have learned through all those years.
